Ocean Universal in Cairns carries a large spearfishing range. Not surprising — the business used to be Spearfishing Superstore, so spearfishing helpful resources hasn't gone anywhere.
The range includes rail spearguns, spearfishing wetsuits, long-blade fins, low-volume masks, weight belts, floats, dive knives, and spearfishing accessories. Everything's chosen for tropical spearfishing — not southern stock that won't last in FNQ.
The name changed to Ocean Universal because the shop had already branched into scuba and freediving equipment over the years. But the spearo side is still there. Spearfishing is still a core part they do.
The team are FNQ spearfishers and know what works on the local reefs.
